Monstera Bundle

This bundle is curated with three of our favorite plants, perfect for plant parents of any skill level. All of these easy to care for plants are beautiful and are sure to add vibrant life to your home!

First up, the classic Monstera Split Leaf. This beautiful plant is popular and easy to care for. Monsteras have large leaves that develop splits from the leaf edges to the center veins that are absolutely stunning. The splits will develop as the plants mature. This fast-grower is known for its excellent air-purifying capabilities and is a must-have for any plant parent!

Next up, is the Monstera Minima AKA Rhaphidophora tetrasperma. This fast-growing vining plant, sought after for its unique fenestrated leaves. They resemble the Monstera deliciosa. The leaves are similarly split with “windows,” but stay quite small. This plant is easy to care for and loves to climb up a moss pole.

Lastly, but definitely not least, the uniquely beautiful Monstera Adansonii or better known as the Swiss Cheese Monstera. This Monstera is an easy-to-grow houseplant with show-stopper foliage. Each leaf is full of natural oval-shaped holes called fenestration that earn the plant its nickname.

🌿 Botanical Name: Monstera deliciosa

💧 Care Level: Easy to moderate. Monsteras are relatively low-maintenance, making them suitable for a wide range of plant enthusiasts.

📏 Size: Can grow quite large indoors, with leaves reaching up to 2 feet (60 cm) or more in length. Given the right conditions and enough space, it can grow several feet tall.

☀️ Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light may slow growth and reduce leaf fenestration. A spot near a window with a sheer curtain is often ideal.

💧 Water: Water when the top inch (2.5 cm) of soil feels dry to the touch. Monsteras prefer evenly moist soil but are somewhat drought-tolerant and do not like to sit in waterlogged soil, which can lead to root rot.

💦 Humidity: Thrives in high humidity, typical of its native tropical environment. However, it's quite adaptable and can tolerate lower humidity levels found in most homes. For optimal growth, aim for 60% humidity or higher, using a humidifier or pebble tray if necessary.

🌡️ Temperature: Prefers warm conditions, ideally between 65°F to 85°F (18°C to 29°C). Avoid exposure to temperatures below 50°F (10°C), as cold temperatures can damage the plant.

🌱 Soil: Use a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix. A mix of potting soil, peat moss, and perlite or orchid bark can provide the right balance of drainage and moisture retention.

🌱 Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce fertilizing in the fall and winter when growth slows.

🔄 Pruning: Prune as needed to remove any yellowing or damaged leaves and to control the plant's size. Pruning can also encourage fuller growth.

🍃 Pests and Diseases: Watch for common pests such as spider mites, mealybugs, and scale insects. Overwatering can lead to fungal diseases and root rot, so ensure proper drainage.
